by offering online tools and resources. This site helps teachers locate online 
resources such as ready-to-use Web lessons, quizzes, rubrics and classroom 
calendars. There are also tools for student use. Discover valuable 
professional development resources addressing issues such as equity, ELL, 
technology planning, and at-risk or special-needs students.

Materials are organized by skill and level for quick and easy access. Your ELLs may interact well with classmates but be floundering academically. BICS (Basic Interpersonal Communication skills) may be learned quickly. However, CALP (Cognitive Academic Language Proficiencies) may take 5 to 10 years to acquire. If your students are unable to understand your language arts or social studies lessons, they have acquired BIC skills but lack CALP.​

Internet TESL Journal This site has articles, research papers, lesson plans, classroom handouts, and teaching ideas and links. This site is for both English and teachers that teach a second language.

LEWL (Learning English with laughter!) This site is selling their curriculum, but they offer English Usage practice test questions with answers that you could use with your students as well as newsletters. The test are not something you can just print off, there is some formatting involved.

To accompany the PowerPoint based resources also contains hundreds of worksheets to use in the classroom.
